At Tendring Primary School, our music curriculum is designed to inspire enjoyment and creativity while nurturing each child’s individual talents. Pupils sing, play instruments, compose and listen and appraise a wide range of music, developing musical skills, understanding and a sense of achievement. They are encouraged to explore different styles, make thoughtful choices and listen carefully, helping them grow as confident performers and reflective listeners. Above all, we aim to create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and inspired to experience the joy and power of music.
